McDowell Mountain Music Festival 2013

This week on SoundsAroundTown.Net, I will be spotlighting what is, probably one of the most important events to occur in downtown Phoenix. While the McDowel Mountain Music Festival has carried with it a fair amount of clout throughout the years for garnering amazing acts and combining  them with local brilliance, I’m not sure it’s ever been done this well before. Both keen ears and eyes created this schedule of wonder and though there are a few other things going on this weekend, they all lay in the shadow of this amazing festival. The lineup is below and it speaks for itself, which saves me from about a thousand words of gushing over each and ever act. Be sure to pay attention to where the after parties are at venues downtown such as Last Exit Live (opening their doors for the first time this week) and Crescent Ballroom. For all information on the festival please see the MMMF website!
