What’s Going Ahhhn…

The choices are excruciating and every venue seems to be jam packed with amazing lineups. This weekend is damn near impossible. It appears that now that the holidays are over, the gloves are off and everyone will be throwing down to make some wonderful sounds. So without further ado, let’s kick out the jams for motherfucking 2016! Here are sixteen  shows to kick it off right…

When & Where: Friday, January 8th, 7:30pm at The Rebel Lounge
Reasons To Attend: This appears to be a one night only show starring Wet Lab. Last year during the Phoenix Rock Lottery five musicians spontaneously became Wet Lab and had to come up with some songs to play that same day. Well, luckily these weren’t your average musicians, they were Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World), Justin Weir (Celebration Guns), Chan Schulman (Harper and The Moths), Jason Roedl (Mergence) and Mitchell Wyatt (Pinner). Joining this super group will be Harper and The Moths, Celebration Guns and Pinner, conveniently enough. They will also be releasing a CASSINGLE of the songs they recorded. This will never happen again…or will it? I’ve heard the songs and I have to admit, they are worth the price of admission alone, but the price of admission goes to charity…so pay up, shut up and enjoy.
