What’s Going Ahhhn…

Sorry this is a little late in the week, finishing up moving around town this week. There were some great shows earlier this week, but don’t be sad if you missed them because this weekend (and I’m including Thursday in the weekend) is through the roof fantastic. There are super tough decisions to be made ever night left in this week, so good luck with that. So here we go with a hell of a weekend to be had by all!

When & Where: Thursday, September 28th, 8pm at The Rhythm Room
Reasons To Attend: Lee Perreira is on fire these days and he’s doing two sets at The Rhythm Room. One of my favorite guitarists in AZ in one of the best sounding venues in town. This will be stellar.

Check the bands out the links below, I don’t have to justify their brilliance here, you can let their music do that for you.

When & Where: Friday, September 30th, 7pm at Kiva Hall, ASU
Reasons To Attend: I almost completely ignored this event, because what the hell ever happens at ASU? Well, I’m pretty glad I clicked on this to see what it’s about because it features freaking Consumer, Elephant Gunn,  and Sedan Sedan. It’s free. I’d pay money to see that lineup at a venue. Elephant Gunn has a new album in the pipe, Sedan Sedan finally added cover artwork to their EP from earlier this year and I’m truly hoping Consumer has some new tunes for us soon. This will be really weird with great music.

When & Where: Friday, September 30th, 8pm at The Rogue Bar

Other Details: Band Details below…

Avindale developed in the southwest region of El Paso, Texas. Their brand of alternative-pop blends spacey grooves with dreamy synths, haunting beats and distinct melodies which may cross boundaries and genres, their unique sound can be described as a mixture of dreamy synths, ambient yet powerful guitar melodies, distinct bass lines that can carry a mood of their own and still adapt to the sound as a whole, drums with dynamic beats, and vocal melodies that can be appealing to diverse audiences.
