It’s an interesting week with Christmas falling right on Sunday, which makes everything weird and as cool as it is to have Christmas on a Sunday if your into that sort of thing, it kind of wrecks the flow of a Phoenix weekend. Plus, most people don’t get a workday off, so that sucks to. What doesn’t suck is the amount of great music happening all over the place every night of the week, except Saturday. Yes, there are shows on Christmas, but this may be the first time in a long time that nothing is going down on a Saturday night. Maybe that will change by the time we get there.

Reasons To Attend: So the lineup of DWARF, Scarlet13 and The Among The Strange is one of my favorite trios to catch in one night. I have yet to be let down by this powerful combination. DWARF is always phenomenal, Scarlet 13 keeps hinting they have new music in the works and Among the Strange are wonderful–you haven’t lived until you’ve seen a suburban mom sing hardcore punk. This show will be amazing and fun.

Either way this is going to be a fantastic night and you can invent new games to overcome claustrophobia during most of these sets.
